Attempt to make India a âHindu nationâ: Mani Shankar Aiyar
The Congress leader even said, âIndia is trying to imitate Pakistan in religious fundamentalism and wants to make itself a âHindu nationâ.â He said that it would be a mistake to expect that the âHindutva establishmentâ in India would want to hold talks with Pakistan. Following the path of Hindutva, they are trying to copy Pakistan, which became an Islamic Republic. Instead of becoming a religion based republic, India became a republic based on all religions.
