Expansion

Congress has made a new strategy to increase the caste vote bank in the state. Under this, programs will be run in the name of various great men and senior leaders of the party. These programs will be run among the population of the respective caste.

The party has started this campaign by organizing a three-day event on the death anniversary (6 July) of former Deputy Prime Minister Late Jagjivan Ram. These events were organized among the Dalit population. The party leaders who reached among the Dalits tried to explain to them that the Congress has always given importance to their community. Now the party is preparing a calendar related to the birth and death anniversaries of saints and leaders associated with the freedom movement and those who held high positions in the party. Programs will be held in the entire state on the basis of this calendar. Recalling the deeds and personality of the concerned leaders, the leaders of their community will put forth their views among the people.

The activity of workers will increase

The party strategists believe that on one hand this will keep the workers active and on the other hand the people of the concerned caste will also be more connected to the party. Congress state president and former minister Ajay Rai said that on the death anniversary of Babu Jagjivan Ram, he himself went to the Dalit colony and participated in the community meal. Every leader of the party organized programs somewhere or the other. This trend will continue in the future.
