Congress Third Candidates List, Lok Sabha Elections After the announcement, political riot has started in the entire country. Meanwhile, Congress has finalized the names of candidates for 30 more seats. Sources in ABP News have told that in the meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress on Tuesday, March 19, candidates have been finalized for 30 Lok Sabha seats across the country.
In this, a consensus has been reached on the names of 8 candidates especially for West Bengal. The special thing is that despite the opposition parties being part of the India Alliance, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress has fielded candidates on all the 42 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal.
These leaders including Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary may get tickets
Sources have said that only Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary will be given the ticket from Baharampur Lok Sabha seat in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. At present he is the sitting MP from here. Similarly, Mallikarjun Kharge’s traditional seat, his son-in-law Radhakrishna, is to be made a candidate from Kalaburagi in Karnataka.
The names of Rajeev Gowda from Bengaluru North and Mansoor Khan from Bengaluru Central have also been decided. A decision has not been taken on Chandigarh seat. Two senior Congress leaders Manish Tiwari and Pawan Bansal are in the race from here. Sources also said that the election committee meeting of Congress regarding Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan has been postponed for the time being.
Third list of Congress candidates may be released on Wednesday
Sources have said that the third list of Congress candidates may be released on Wednesday (20 March). Before this, there will be another meeting of the Congress Election Committee at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, in which the final decision will be taken on those seats where the decision is currently pending.
82 candidates have been announced
Out of 543 Lok Sabha seats across the country, Congress has announced candidates for 82. 39 candidates were announced in the first list of the party. Whereas 43 candidates were announced in the second list. Now 30 candidates can be announced in the third list.
