Corporation Chairman Dr. Ashish Kumar Goyal instructed on Saturday that all preparations should be made immediately to provide 24-hour power supply in the entire state on 26 August and 27 August on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. If there is a local fault due to any reason, it should be rectified immediately. For this, human resources and material should be kept decentralized at the identified sub-centers near the site, so that local faults can be rectified in the shortest possible time. Where transformers burn more, trolley transformers should be arranged there. Keeping the control room active 24 hours, the distribution section should be divided into sectors and officers and employees should be assigned duty.
Preparations to celebrate Shri Krishna Janmashtami with grandeur in Mathura
Preparations are in full swing to celebrate Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary (Janmashtami) with great faith and grandeur in Mathura. Tourism facilities are also being developed in view of the large number of tourists arriving in Mathura. Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad is developing facade lighting and signage on the Govardhan Parikrama Marg at a cost of 21 crores and the ghats of the Yamuna river at a cost of 43 crores.
The Tourism and Culture Minister said that extensive preparations are underway for Sri Krishna Janmotsav. The temples of the city are being decorated attractively. The installation of facade lighting on the Govardhan Parikrama route will provide a lot of convenience to tourists. At the same time, the development of the ghats of the Yamuna river will enable tourists to spend time here in a better way. He said that Govardhan mountain has religious significance. The 21-kilometer-long Govardhan Parikrama takes place in two parts.
Facade lighting has been installed for the convenience of the devotees on the Parikrama Marg. Along with this, along with the revival of the ghats, arrangements have been made for benches to sit, drinking water etc. Devotees come to Mathura and Braj region throughout the year. They come in large numbers during Janmashtami and Rangotsav. Keeping this in mind, facilities and infrastructure are being developed for tourists.
