In Bihar, a controversy has arisen over the education department’s training program for government teachers and annual examinations of students on Holi and Good Friday. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has sought intervention from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in this matter.

A letter issued from the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) on March 20 said that the concerned authorities will have to ensure that all primary school teachers (classes 1 to 5) who have not attended the training session earlier are Must attend a six-day training session. The Council will conduct Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) training program from 25th to 30th March. The circular has been sent to all Principals of Teacher Education Colleges (CTE), District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Primary Teacher Education College (PTEC), Block Education and Training Institute (BIET) and other concerned officials.

More than 270 candidates have been detained from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand in connection with the question paper leak in Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE)-3 of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). The Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) of Bihar Police has taken this action on the basis of secret information. Now politics has started in this matter. The parties and the opposition are making statements against each other. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav alleged that the leak of question paper of teacher recruitment exam conducted by PSC is proof that mafia rule is running in the state under the NDA rule.
