Corona Borealis Explosion: A star is about to explode in the sky… Know when this rare event will happen

Whenever any incident happens in space outside the Earth, it is a very surprising moment for humans. Recently the world witnessed a spectacular astronomical phenomenon like a total solar eclipse. There was maximum enthusiasm about this in America. But scientists all over the world are excited about the incident we are talking about. This is because this incident happens once in decades. Let us tell you which dwarf star is going to explode.

This star is going to explode

The dwarf star we are talking about is Corona Borealis or T CRB is about three thousand light years away from Earth. Scientists say that this white dwarf star is about to explode. American space agency NASA says that this is an event that happens once in decades. The biggest thing is that no expensive telescope will be required to see this incident.

How many years does the explosion take place

NASA scientists say That explosion in T-CRB does not always occur. Before this explosion, such an explosion was seen in the year 1964. That means this type of explosion occurs approximately once in 80 years. This phenomenon is somewhat similar to Halley’s Comet. However, it is a nova, so it is considered better than a comet.

How do scientists know about the explosion?

American Space William Cook, manager of the Meteorite Environment Program at the agency NASA, while talking to BBC on this, says that in most cases we do not know when a nova is going to explode. But there are 10 novae which are recurring novae, that is, the explosion occurs again and again at a fixed time. Corona Borealis is an example of this, that is why we know that this eruption can happen any time between now and September 2024.
