What are experts saying?
On Wednesday, former director of AIIMS, Dr. Randeep Guleria while talking to news agency PTI said that new variants could be behind the increase in fresh cases of corona. However, unless it causes serious illness and death, there is no need to panic.

Guleria said that when the outbreak of Kovid started it was alpha, beta, gamma, delta and omicron Happened with the variant. In this way the virus kept changing. Fortunately, if we look at the last one year, such variants have come up which are sub-variants of Omicron itself. So the virus seems to have stabilized to some extent and is not changing as rapidly as in the past.
