There is not a single infected patient of Corona in the district. However, the health department is on alert in view of the increasing infection of corona in other countries including China, Japan, Brazil, USA. An appeal is being made to apply masks in hospitals and crowded places. Special monitoring will also be done for those coming from outside. People are also being appealed to follow the Corona protocol.

After the order issued by the Union Health Ministry, the Health Minister of UP has instructed all the CMOs to initiate every measure to prevent corona. CMO Dr. Sandeep Chowdhary said that apart from installing hoardings on social media to make people aware, an appeal will be made to follow the protocol from the Hospital Information System. People will be informed about applying masks, maintaining social distance, paying special attention to cleanliness. For special monitoring, screening will be done by putting a team at the airport, railway station as before.
