Delhi COVID-19 Cases: More than 400 cases of coronavirus have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours. A patient has died there. According to the data released by the Delhi Health Department, 429 new cases of corona have come on Sunday. Also, the corona infection rate has gone up to 16.09 percent. Apart from this, one patient has died. However, it has been told that the primary cause of death of the patient is not corona.

Earlier on Saturday in Delhi coronavirus 416 new cases were reported, which was the highest in the last seven months. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department, the Kovid infection rate in Delhi had also reached a high of 14.37 percent. For the first time after August 31 last year, 300 cases were registered in Delhi on Wednesday and two patients died. On 31 August, 377 cases were registered in Delhi.

Death toll in Delhi so far is 26,530

Significantly, at present there are 1395 active patients of Corona in Delhi. Out of this, 87 patients are admitted in the hospital. 24 patients are on oxygen support and nine patients are on ventilator support. According to the data of the Health Department, after the arrival of another case of death from Corona, the death toll due to infection in Delhi has increased to 26,530. After the arrival of new cases, the number of infected people in Delhi has increased to 20,10,741.

CM Kejriwal had a meeting

Amid the sharp rise in H3N2 influenza cases in the country, Delhi also witnessed a rise in the number of new Covid cases in the last few days. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a review meeting on Friday to address the concerns arising out of the increase in the number of Kovid cases. He assured the residents of Delhi that the government is implementing all necessary measures and there is no immediate reason to panic.
