Coronavirus New Guideline: There has been a decrease in corona cases worldwide. In view of this, the Government of India has issued a new Corona Guideline. Under this, passengers coming to India from six countries will not need to undergo RT-PCR test. These countries include China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand and Japan. The Center has also removed the rule of uploading the ‘air facility’ form, seeing that the risk of corona is decreasing.

However, the Union Ministry of Health will continue to monitor emerging new variants and 2 percent of all travelers arriving in India will be randomly tested for COVID-19. The new guideline came into effect from 13 February. The decision has come in the wake of a sharp decline in coronavirus cases in these six countries over the past few weeks.

New variants drop by 89 percent

According to World Health Organization (WHO) data, the new variants have seen a drop of 89 per cent compared to the number recorded in the last 28 days. Wu Junyao, chief epidemiologist of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention, recently said that the situation in China is improving. There is very little possibility of a large scale corona wave in China.

At the same time, the number of Kovid-19 cases in India continues to decline (Corona Cases Decreasing In India) and less than 100 cases are being registered daily. On Sunday (February 12), 124 new cases were registered. After this the number of active cases has increased to 1843. According to the website of the Ministry of Health, about 220.62 crore doses of Kovid-19 vaccine have been given in India so far.
