The herd immunity developed in people during the corona pandemic is effective on the new variant. Health experts claim that the effect of the new variant of Corona will not be very effective. Serious symptoms have not been seen in the patients of Omicron’s variant BF.7 found in the country about five days ago. 100% people in Delhi-NCR have got corona vaccine. A large number of people have also taken precautionary doses. According to the Covin app, 3.73 crore doses have been administered in Delhi so far.

Dr. Sanjay Rai, senior epidemiologist of Delhi AIIMS, said that from the third wave, the variant Omicron of Corona is constantly changing its form, but its effective form could not be seen in India. Most of the people in the country have recovered after getting infected with Corona, due to which herd immunity has been created in them, which is effective in fighting new variants. However, it is important to monitor all variants of Corona. In the current scenario, we do not see any possibility of facing any serious problem due to the virus.

Cases will start decreasing rapidly after January 15
Director of GTB Hospital Dr. Subhash Giri said that due to herd immunity and vaccination people’s immunity is effective. A large number of seasonal disease patients are reaching the hospital with symptoms of corona. Their corona test is also being done, but only a small number of positive patients are being found in the test. In such a situation, there is no need to worry about the new variant of Corona. We can expect that by January 15, these cases will start decreasing rapidly.
