Covid 19 In India: The pace of coronavirus cases is increasing in many states of the country. In view of this, the central and state governments are also alert. In this episode, on Monday (April 10), a nationwide mock-drill was done to take stock of the preparations. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya visited Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi to review the preparedness related to COVID-19.
The health ministry said a huge response was witnessed across the country where ministers and senior officials reviewed the preparedness and capabilities of hospitals and facilities. In the review meeting held on April 7, Mandaviya requested the health ministers of the states to visit the hospitals and inspect the preparations on April 10 and 11. Mandaviya today approved Serum Institute’s inclusion of Covax in the Covin portal. Covax will be available soon on the Covin portal for Rs.225 per dose plus applicable GST.
Large number of new cases found in Maharashtra
On Monday, again a large number of corona cases have been found in many states of the country. In Maharashtra, 328 new cases of corona were reported and one died. Now the number of active cases in the state has increased to 4667. In view of the ever-increasing cases of corona, the use of masks has been made mandatory for employees, patients and visitors in all government hospitals in Mumbai.

More than 400 cases found in Delhi
In the last 24 hours, 484 new corona cases have been reported in Delhi. The positivity rate in the national capital is 26.58%. Delhi’s health minister said after increasing cases of Kovid that people with flu-like symptoms should wear masks. On the other hand, 71 new cases of corona have been found in Uttarakhand today and 5 patients have recovered. There are currently 147 active cases in the state. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that the Covid vaccination campaign will continue in Bihar even in the absence of Centre’s support.
