In Katihar, the case of indiscriminate firing has again come to the fore. In the indiscriminate firing, a bullet hit the farmer working in the field and he died before being taken to the hospital. The incident took place near Teen Muhani Ghat under Kursela police station area.

Bullet reached the field during the firing of two sides
It is being told about the incident that took place on Wednesday evening that a dispute was going on between two parties at that place. On seeing this, firing started from both the sides. There was rapid firing from both the sides. Hearing the sound of firing, people were running here and there. Meanwhile, the farmer working in the field got shot. As soon as the information about the shooting incident was received, the police reached the spot and after finding the farmer dead, sent the dead body to Sadar Hospital Katihar for post-mortem.

Shiv Shankar Kumar, son of deceased Ashok Mandal told that his house is Chai Tola village. His father had gone to work in his farm. Meanwhile, there was a dispute between the two sides at that place and then firing started from both the sides. In this firing, his father got two bullets. The details of the dispute and the reason for the firing have not been revealed yet. It is also not known as to which party or person fired the bullet that killed the farmer. Police is engaged in investigation.
