How much does a wedding video mean to you? Perhaps people see her in the first few years of marriage and then after that they hardly see her. But a wedding couple made special arrangements to get a video of their wedding made, but it got lost. But the surprising thing was that after 57 years, after seeing a picture, he came to know that he could get that video and then his effort was also successful. This unique experience happened with a couple from Australia.
Ellen Turnbull, from Brisbane, married her husband Bill in Scotland in 1967 and shortly after she borrowed a projector to watch footage taken of her leaving church on Christmas Eve. At that time the newly married couple left the film in the projector and never saw it again. Then years later, Turnbull was scrolling through Facebook and saw a photo taken from the lost video.
Turnbull, now 77, told BBC Scotland: “I was looking on Facebook and this wedding photo came up. My husband was sitting here, I turned to him and said ‘This is our wedding photo.'” Terry Chen from Scotland posted in a group for Australian natives. Chen’s uncle was the person who lent his projector to the couple more than five decades ago.

Chen has since sent the couple a link to watch the footage. He had deposited some of his film reels at his uncle’s house during his stay in the Royal Navy. “One day they decided they were moving house, so I took my films back. I kept them in my loft for a long time. And then I decided I’d put them on DVD, because I didn’t have a projector,” he told the outlet.
Chen said that the first film that was on the DVD was a mysterious unknown film to him. It was clearly a wedding in Maastricht Church. He saw it several times, including when he didn’t know anyone.
