COVID-19 Elevates The Risk Of Death On Heart Disease In Patients For At Least 18 Months After Infection

Risk of Death on Heart Disease in COVID-19: Corona is once again creating furore in all the countries of the world including China, Japan and America. Meanwhile, a new research on Corona has presented a frightening report. Scientists warned on Thursday (January 19) that corona patients are at risk of death for at least 18 months after getting infected.

Scientists said, “During the epidemic, many such cases were seen in which people died a few days after defeating the corona.” This report is increasing the concern of those people who have not been infected for 18 months. According to the report, the risk of heart related diseases is high in corona infected patients for 18 months.

Risk of heart disease in corona patients

According to cardiovascular research published in a journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), corona-infected patients were found to have more symptoms of heart-related diseases, which could lead to their death. This report was prepared by researching 160,000 people. At the same time, Professor Ian CK Wong of Hong University of China said, “The findings suggest that patients with Kovid-19 should be monitored for at least one year after recovering from severe disease.”

The risk is 81 times higher for three weeks

According to the report, infected people were 81 times more likely to die of heart disease in the first three weeks than uninfected people, and five times more likely to die after 18 months. The report said, “Corona patients were almost four times more likely to develop serious heart disease and 40% more likely to have a heart attack than the two uninfected groups.” According to research, patients with COVID-19 are more likely to develop severe heart disease or die compared to non-severe cases.

Research done during the first wave of Corona

According to research, COVID-19 patients are more likely to have cardiovascular disorders including myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease, heart failure in both the short and long term than uninfected participants. Due to Corona, the number of people who died of heart attack has increased rapidly recently. Professor Ian CK Wong said, “This study was done during the first wave of the epidemic.”
