The Intelligence Fusion Strategic Operations (IFSO) of Delhi Police’s Special Cell has registered a case and arrested both of them from Bihar. They are being interrogated by taking them on remand. An official source of Delhi Police said that one of the brothers is a minor. The name of the elder brother is Om.
A Home Ministry official said that the investigation of the matter was handed over to the IFSO of the Special Cell. The police have come to know in the investigation that these brothers had touched the bot. He had accessed the portal.
According to senior police official sources, the accused had made such a software that on putting some numbers on it, some information about the vaccine takers would come. These people have neither stolen the data nor given it to anyone.
According to police sources, the mother of the accused works as a nurse. Through the information given by the mother, they had reached the Covin portal and data. Delhi Police and other agencies are questioning them.
The Health Ministry had asked CERT-In to look into the issue and submit a report. According to police officials, the investigation is still going on. The full facts will come out only after the investigation.
