Generally, all the mammalian creatures give milk only when their child is born. This is a natural phenomenon but a case has come to light in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh, which is no less than a miracle. There is a cow here which is giving 4 liters of milk daily without giving birth to a calf. Local people are calling this cow ‘Kamadhenu’.
This case is of Payagpur tehsil present in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh. Here in Ganga Tiwari Pur village, a cow is giving milk regularly without giving birth to a child. In such a situation, people are associating it with a miracle. They are calling it Kamadhenu cow because in Hindu religion this cow is given the status of goddess.
Gives 4 liters of milk daily without getting pregnant
This amazing cow is in the house of retired professor Dr. Omkarnath Tripathi. He is fond of cow rearing and has 6-7 cows in his cowshed. According to him, the age of the cow is about two and a half years and he realized 6 months ago that the cow’s udders had milk. He asked the employee working in the cowshed to extract milk. Earlier the cow used to give only 250 ml milk, but gradually it started increasing. When milking was started both the times, the milk yield of the cow increased to 4 litres. Professor Tripathi tells that the cow was born in his cowshed and grew up here.
The cow gives milk at fixed time in the morning and evening.
Doctors can’t believe it
Professor Tripathi explains that the cow is a hybrid of the Sahiwal breed. It eats and drinks like normal cows and is not given anything separately. Not only this, he also feeds the milk of this cow to a calf in his cowshed because its mother died after birth. He says that there is no change in cow’s milk but the amount of fat in it is high. When he talked to the doctors regarding the health of the cow, they could not believe it. Although veterinary scientists say that this happens due to hormonal imbalance but it is quite rare.
