A crèche for small children will open in Gaya Central Jail, Bihar. The opening of the crèche will provide great relief to the women workers going on duty. Preparations have been started in the Central Jail for opening the crèche. Working mothers will be able to perform their duties leaving their children below five years of age in this cradle house. This will provide considerable relief to the lady chamberlain. When the lady chamberlain will be on duty, her children will be looked after by the personnel deployed in the crèche.

Jail Superintendent Vijay Kumar Arora said that instructions came that where more than 25 women employees are employed, crèche homes will be opened. Regarding this, a crèche is being opened here also. At present 30 women workers are working here. Six of them are female chamberlains whose children are below five years of age.

There are also arrangements for playing and eating

According to the information, in this cradle house, along with various play items for small children, food items will also be available for them. The children staying here will also be given food and milk if they feel hungry. Initially only the female chamberlain will be given this responsibility. After this, two female workers will be appointed for the crèche. Who will take care of the children who stay here for eight hours.

It will be launched tomorrow

The Jail Superintendent said that this crèche is to be inaugurated on 14 February 2024. Apart from Jail Superintendent Satish Kumar Singh and Assistant Jail Superintendent Raghavendra Pratap, others have been given different responsibilities.
