Delhi is not called the capital of crime for no reason. The figures bear testimony to the fact that despite all the claims of the police, the morale of the criminals in the capital is high. In the last 24 hours, three cases of murder have come to light in different parts of Delhi.

In Mangolpuri, a youth was stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday. The deceased Jitendra (28) was a truck driver by profession. Initial investigation revealed that Jitendra was drinking alcohol with some boys during his brother’s reception party. He asked a boy to bring food items. On refusing, he slapped the boy, to avenge which the said boy along with his companions attacked Jitendra with a knife while coming home. The police registered a case and arrested Jatin, Mohit and a minor resident of Mangolpuri. Police is looking for an absconding accused.
Jitendra lived in Mangolpuri’s L Block with his father Nandlal, mother Meena, elder brothers Ratna and Ravi. Father Nandlal told that Jitendra had come to his elder brother’s reception party on Saturday night. The program ended at around 3 pm. After that, instead of going home, Jitendra went to the Jagran being held in another street. The police officer said that Jitendra was informed about the stabbing near the temple at 6.15 am. Police reached the spot and learned that the family took him to a nearby hospital, from where the doctors referred him to the Jaipur Golden Hospital. Jitendra was declared dead here.
Youth stabbed to death for opposing robbery.
A young man was stabbed to death late on Saturday night for opposing mobile robbery in Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara district. The deceased has been identified as Arun alias Rahul (30). The incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the street. The police have started investigating the matter by taking possession of the footage. The accused has been identified. Three teams have been formed to search for him. On the other hand, the police is denying the murder for robbery.
According to the police, Arun alias Rahul lived with the family at C-Block, New Sanjay Amar Colony, Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara. He used to do cleaning work in Gandhi Nagar area. After having dinner at around 11.30 pm on Saturday late night, Rahul had come out of the house for some work. Rahul’s father Rajkumar alleged that as soon as he came out of the street, a youth named Karan, who lives in the locality, stopped him. The accused tried to rob the phone from him. On protesting, the accused attacked Rahul with a knife.

The dead body of a young man was found on the banks of Yamuna river in Alipur on Sunday morning. His hands and feet were tied with rope. The dead body has not been identified. On Sunday morning, the Alipur police station got information about the dead body of a young man lying on the banks of the Yamuna near Jhangola Thokar number seven. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. People around told that dogs were scratching the dead body. With the help of people, the body was pulled out of the river. Both the hands and feet of the deceased were tied. Along with this, a cloth was tied over the mouth.
Police officials said that the body was two days old. It is feared that the dead body may have flown from Haryana. Police say that after killing the young man, he was thrown into the Yamuna river to dispose of the dead body.
