Amidst the RG tax dispute, crimes against women are not stopping in West Bengal. Last night (November 2, 2024) in Shantipur, West Bengal, miscreants beat up a couple under the influence of alcohol, due to which the woman got seriously injured and had to be admitted to the hospital. The couple had protested against the actions of members of a club who were under the influence of alcohol.
It is alleged that during the celebration of Kali Pratima immersion, some members of a club attacked the woman under the influence of alcohol. Was spit out. When the couple protested against their actions, not only the couple but also one of their friends was beaten up. The club members, under the influence of alcohol, beat the couple to such an extent that the woman was seriously injured, after which she was admitted to Shantipur State General Hospital in Nadia district. Although the police have started the investigation, the accused are still absconding.
Miscreants created vandalism
The secret is gone. In Kolkata, miscreants beat up some other miscreants. Miscreants allegedly vandalized a club named Vidyasagar Palli in Bagha Jatin area, in which 12 people of the club were badly injured. It is alleged that this vandalism was done in protest against the liquor vend. Female members of the club also suffered injuries during this incident. Information about the matter was given to the police, after which the local Netaji Nagar police arrested three accused.
Beated for opposing the demolition
The activities of miscreants are in full swing in Kolkata, after Bagha Jatin, now activities of anti-social elements have been seen in Haltu police limits. A couple was allegedly beaten up by some miscreants for creating ruckus in the club premises. It is alleged that the victim couple was attacked for protesting against the demolition. According to the club secretary and local TMC councilor of ward number 107, Lipika Manna’s supporters are mainly behind this.
