Criminals are not being found in 500 CCTVs, know the strange case of MP


Burhanpur. A strange case has come to light from Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Till date you must have seen people complaining about their disappearances at the police station. You must have heard about the police catching criminals. But in Burhanpur district of Madhya Pradesh, more than two dozen donkeys belonging to some 5 to 6 Prajapati families have gone missing. The victims have complained about this at the Kotwali police station. Now the police is scanning more than 500 CCTV cameras installed in the district so that the donkeys can be found.

Donkey owners gave information
Donkey owner Tukaram informed the Local 18 team that our donkeys have been missing for the last three-four days. It was raining and we had left the donkeys at home. But they did not return home, so we have complained about it at the Kotwali police station. The victims say that we are about half a dozen such people. More than two dozen donkeys are missing. The price of a donkey is about ₹25 to ₹30000. That is why we have complained. So that our donkeys can be found through the police. Now the police is searching the CCTV cameras.

Donkeys carry soil, sand and bricks
Aditya Prajapati of Prajapati Samaj says that donkeys are reared by us. These donkeys carry our soil, sand and bricks. We feed them fodder and water twice a day. And keep them tied in our houses. But for the last one week, more than two dozen donkeys belonging to about half a dozen people of the society have disappeared.

Police station in-charge gave information
When the Local 18 team spoke to Kotwali police station in-charge Sitaram Solanki, he told that the owners living in Shikarpura Pratappura and Silampura areas have lodged a complaint about the disappearance of donkeys. We are examining the CCTV footage.
