According to the information, late on Wednesday evening, Harsh Aryan, son of Raman Lal Sah, a resident of Ward No. 13 of Bajitpur Kartar village of Patepur police station area, was walking on the road near his house with his friends. During this time, four miscreants in a car coming from Matpur forcibly pulled Harsh Aryan into the car and took him towards Bardiha.
After the incident, the young men who were walking together started shouting. Hearing the noise, a large number of people from the vicinity gathered at the spot and blocked the Mahua-Tajpur road. On getting information about the incident, the uncle of the kidnapped youth, Raghopur Narsanda Panchayat’s Mukhiya husband Mojetaat Sah informed the Patepur police about the incident.
On receiving the information, SHO Shivendra Narayan Singh reached the spot with the police team and after taking necessary information, he took immediate action and started raiding the direction of the miscreants’ escape. It was told that within one and a half hours, the police recovered the youth in an injured condition from Bardiha village.
After handing over the recovered youth to his family, the police removed the road blockade after assuring the people of action and pacifying them by explaining things to them. In this case, the kidnapped youth has given a written application to the police and lodged an FIR against Aditya Kumar alias Polti, son of late Ramkishun Rai, resident of Bardiha village, Pappu Kumar, son of Ramchandra Rai, Kushal Kumar and others.
The youth said that the above accused took him in a car to Bardiha Chanwar and beat him with the butt of the pistol with the intention of killing him and were trying to kill him by attacking his neck with a knife when the police arrived on the spot. As soon as the police arrived, all the accused left the spot and fled. Seeing the injury marks on the youth’s neck, the police took him home after getting him treated at Patepur PHC.
