New Delhi. A case of fraud of lakhs of rupees from a girl posted in CRPF in Narela area has come to light. The accused committed the fraud by pretending to be a pilot. The accused cheated the victim of Rs 8.5 lakh on the pretext of befriending her and marrying her. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and are investigating. The 30-year-old victim is working in CRPF and is posted in Bawana area. She is originally from Bihar. In the complaint given to the police, he told that some time ago a message from a young man came on his Facebook ID. After that she started talking to him. The young man introduced himself as a pilot and said that he lives in Haryana. During the conversation he started talking about getting married.
Meanwhile, one day the accused told them that his mother was admitted in the hospital and her account was blocked. In the name of mother’s operation, the accused took Rs 1.5 lakh from the victim. Then he told the victim about being implicated in some crime. He asked for six and a half lakh rupees from them, saying that he would go to jail. The victim took a loan and gave money to the accused. Later the victim came to know that the photo of the accused youth posted on Instagram and Facebook was fake. After that the victim informed the police about the matter. Police have registered a case on the complaint and are investigating the matter.
