From DU to BHU and JMI, let’s try to know how much the cut-off of each course can be this year. This can be estimated on the basis of last year’s results. The cut-off of top colleges of DU can be as follows for different courses.
In Shri Ram College, the cut-off for BA can be 97-99, BA Hons 90-92, BSc 92-94, BSc Hons 99-100 and B Com 99-100. Mirand House cut-off for the above mentioned subjects can be 99+, 96-98, 96.98, 96,98, 99-100 respectively. Kirori Mal College can go in this order – 98-99.5, 96-98, 96-98, 99-100, 99-100.
In Stephens College, the cut-off for BA is 99-100, BA Hons is 98-100, BSc is 98-99, BSc Hons is 99-99 and B.Com is 97-99. In Hansraj College, the cut-off can be as follows – 98.5-99.5, 96-98, 96-98, 99-100, 99-100.
Last year’s cut-off of Jamia was as follows. BA Hons (English) 65-80, BA Hons (Economics) 70-80, BCom Hons 60-80, BSc Hons (Maths) 50-70 and BSc Hons (Chemistry) 45-70. This year also the cut-off may be around this time
Last year’s cut-off of BHU was something like this. BA Hons (English) 170+, BA Hons (Economics) 170+, BCom Hons 220+, BSc Hons (Maths) 160+ and BSc Hons (Chemistry) 160+. It remains to be seen whether this time there is an increase or decrease.
Many factors are responsible for the cut-off. Like total number of seats, difficulty level of CUET, total number of candidates appearing in the examination, how is the performance of the candidates in CUET, which category the candidates belong to, how many candidates have chosen which subject etc.
