Darbhanga SSP Jagunath Reddy has suspended three policemen of Dial 112 in the case of releasing an arrested warrantee after taking a bribe of Rs. 3000. During the suspension period, their headquarters will be Police Center Darbhanga. Kewti BJP MLA Dr. Murari Mohan Jha had complained to SSP Jagunath Reddy regarding this matter.
According to the information, the court has issued an arrest warrant against Raja Paswan, son of Amarnath Paswan, a resident of Birdipur in Simri police station area. In this case, the Dial 112 team was taking the warrantee to the court. During this, on July 19, constables Ananya Kumar, Ravindra Kumar Singh and Neetu Kumari deputed on Dial 112 took three thousand rupees from the accused Raja Paswan and released him. In this case, Simri police station in-charge Virendra Chaudhary had complained about this to the Senior Superintendent of Police and other officials. Regarding this matter, the SSP has suspended all three policemen.
Regarding this matter, yesterday, BJP MLA of Kewti, Dr. Murari Mohan Jha himself went to Simri police station and complained about this matter to SHO Virendra Chaudhary. The MLA asked SHO Virendra Chaudhary about this and informed SSP through mobile phone. He told that taking the MLA’s words seriously, the accused was arrested again. It has been told that warrantee Raja Paswan, resident of Birdipur, was arrested by Simri police and was released on the way after allegedly taking money. Local people informed MLA Dr. Murari Mohan Jha about this. It was found that the Jamadar Ananya Kumar is on duty on the Dial 112 vehicle.
In this regard, SSP Jagunath Reddy said that three policemen of Dial 112 were accused of releasing a fugitive warrantee after taking money. After conducting a detailed investigation of this case, the three policemen have been suspended on the basis of the report given by the SHO.
