Pravesh Mishra, the main accused in the murder incident that took place in Narouch Bihari of Jale police station area of Darbhanga, Bihar, has been arrested from Surat, Gujarat. Pravesh Mishra had entered the house of his own nephew Ujjwal Mishra, stabbed him to death and escaped. Jale police station has succeeded in arresting the accused through technical and mobile surveillance.
According to the information, Jale police station has arrested Pravesh Mishra, the absconding main accused in the murder case, from Dindola market in Surat, Gujarat. The arrested accused has been taken into custody from Hindol city of Gujarat and presented by the police in the court of Darbhanga Judicial Magistrate Darbhanga Civil Court.
Jale police station case number 50/23 has been registered against the accused. In that, Pravesh Mishra is accused of murder due to a dispute regarding distribution of ancestral property. Actually, there was a dispute going on regarding land distribution between Pravesh Mishra of Naruch Bihari village and his step brother Ajit Mishra. There was a dispute going on between both the parties regarding this for a long time. Even on the day of the incident, a dispute regarding land distribution started. Then the abuse started and fighting started. After that, the accused party entered the house of the deceased and killed Ujjwal Mishra by stabbing him with a knife.
In the FIR lodged at Jale police station, it has been said that Pravesh Mishra along with his wife, son and daughter entered the house of their own step brother Ajit Mishra on 29 April 23. Then, amid a fight over land distribution, Ajit Mishra’s elder son Ujjwal Mishra (18) was stabbed to death with a knife.
Regarding this matter, Jale Police Station Head Yashodhanand Pandey said that Pravesh Mishra, an accused in the murder case, has been arrested from Surat, Gujarat. He told that after the murder all the accused were absconding. The investigator of this case Rakesh Kumar Singh has arrested the said accused. After the incident, the deceased’s father Ajit Mishra had filed an FIR against four people including murder accused Pravesh Mishra. After the incident, all the named accused fled from the spot. One of the accused has been arrested by Jale police from Hindola city of Gujarat. The other three accused in the incident are absconding and will be arrested soon.
