Darbhanga News: SSP has written a letter to DM for taking action against the police station chowkidars in the case of dancing and having a liquor party with bar dancers on the occasion of son’s birthday. However, after the viral video was found to be true in the investigation, both the chowkidars have been suspended.

SSP Jagunath Reddy has taken seriously the case of the dance video of two chowkidars of Kewati police station of Darbhanga district with bar dancers going viral and an innocent person being beaten up in the police station. He has written a letter to District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan for taking action against Kewati SHO Ranjit Sharma and the two chowkidars Sonu Paswan and Om Paswan who danced with the bar dancers.
According to the information, during the birthday party of the son of the chowkidar of Kevati police station, bar dancers were called for dancing. A liquor party was also organized. After this event, the local people who complained to the police station were beaten up by the police.
After this, the video of the dance of bar dancers went viral on social media very fast. SSP Jagunath Reddy had given the responsibility of investigating this case to the inspector of Kamtaul. In the investigation report given on Saturday, the viral video was found to be true, after which the station in-charge and two chowkidars have been suspended.
