The Delhi Board of School Education, run by the Delhi government, made its first result public. Under this, almost all the students pursuing education in the board have passed the 10th-12th examination with excellent marks. The Delhi Board of School Education has declared a pass percentage of 99.49% in class 10th and 99.25% in class 12th in its first year itself. It is claimed that now these students have become eligible to get employment in different fields.

The Delhi government claims that after getting conventional education, students do not become employable, while the education being imparted under its board prepares children to be employable. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has extended his best wishes to the students, parents and board officials.

Education Minister Atishi said on Monday that the curriculum for the children was prepared in collaboration with the top institutions of the world, as a result of which more and more children have achieved success in their field. He said that if India has to become the No.1 country in the world, then the children coming out of schools need to understand much more than the information given in their books. Changes should be made for this.

He said that the evaluation process of DBSE is different from the traditional evaluation. Here, instead of rote learning, students are assessed on the basis of their understanding of the subject. He said that all the developed countries today have provided world class education to every child of their country for the last 50-100 years, we also have to provide similar education to our students.

Chief Minister congratulated

In a tweet, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the Delhi government has started education under DBSE in the School of Specialized Excellence. Prepared their syllabus in collaboration with the world’s renowned IB board. Today these excellent results of Delhi School Education Board prove that we are working in the right direction. He said that apart from providing world class education to the children, we have to make them successful human beings.

BJP said

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has said that due to the decision of the Delhi government, students who have passed Class X or Class XII DBSE exams have been deprived of the competitive advantages that students who have passed CBSE exams get. He said that the process of continuous evaluation is not a new thing. It was also tried by CBSE as a grading system for Class X, but it led to a decline in academic standards and opposition from eminent educationists, after which CBSE withdrew it. But by adopting the same pattern, now the Delhi government is turning its back.
