Delhi’s Dabri police station said that information was received on Saturday evening that blood was flowing out of a room closed from inside in a house in Sitapuri area. When the police broke the door and entered, they found bodies of three youths in bad condition. Landlord Bhagturam told that the three youths, residents of Kila Cantonment, Bareilly, were living at his place on rent for a few months. He used to sell Chole Bhature at a street vendor in the area. His acquaintance Arun lives on the upper floor. It was he who informed the landlord after seeing the blood.
Police found LPG cylinder from the room. There were also some food items and liquor bottles. District Police Deputy Commissioner Ankit Kumar Singh said that the fireplace was not found. He ruled out murder or death due to suffocation. It was suspected that all three had eaten food along with drinking alcohol. The gas cylinder was also open.
