The body of a ninth class student who was missing from Adarsh ​​Nagar area for three days was found in the Haiderpur canal on Sunday evening. The student had left home three days ago to go to school. When he did not return home till late evening, his family members lodged a missing complaint at the Adarsh ​​Nagar police station. Since then, the police was searching for the teenager. He lived in Adarsh ​​​​Nagar with his father Mahavir Singh, mother, two brothers and a sister. He studied in a government school located in the area. His father works in a garment sewing factory located in the area. Mahavir Singh said that on Friday, Manav left home for his school at 11.30 am. He studied in the second shift of the school.

Manav did not return home till 7 pm. His father and other family members were searching for him since he returned from the factory. According to his father, he had gone to school with his second mobile phone. When he tried to contact him on the phone, he was talking on it. Then the phone got switched off. He alleges that one of his friends had come home and told him that he was smoking ganja with some boy and would return tomorrow morning. That boy did not tell anything more than this.

Late night, the family members lodged a missing complaint at Adarsh ​​Nagar police station. Since then, the police were searching for the student. The father said that on Sunday evening, the police informed him about the body being found and called him to Ambedkar Hospital. Where he identified the body of his son. He said that the body was recovered from the Haiderpur canal. There are injury marks on his head and body. The family alleges that he was murdered and then the body was thrown into the canal.
