- What is the width of the grave: Generally the width of the grave is kept at two to five feet.
- What is the depth of the grave: The depth of most graves is around three to five feet.
Is soil poured directly into the grave after placing the dead body in it: No, after placing the dead body in the grave, soil is not poured directly, but first a plank, or stone slab or bamboo sticks are placed on the upper surface of the grave, and then the common people add soil.
After burial, soil is poured on the grave. Order to pour soil three times through one person. People pour soil with both their hands.
