Persis Khambatta is the first Indian star who became a presenter for the Oscar Awards. Persis is best remembered for his role as Lieutenant Ilya in the feature film ‘Star Tech: Motion Pictures’ (1979). In the year 1980, he presented the award for Best Feature Length Documentary Film.
