British-born Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ of the year 2024 has received 13 nominations including Best Film, Cillian Murphy for Best Actor and Emily Blunt for Best Supporting Actress. The list of presenters of this awards show includes the names of David Beckham, Dua Lipa, Hugh Grant, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Idris Elba, Gillian Anderson, Andrew Scott and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
According to media reports, Christopher Nolan is said to be the favorite in the race for Best Director. If Robert Downey Jr. wins the Best Supporting Actor award, he will get his second BAFTA award after 31 years. Other films expected to include French courtroom drama ‘Anatomy of a Fall’, ‘The Holdovers’, Leonard Bernstein’s biopic Maestro starring Bradley Cooper, All of Us Strangers, black comedy thriller ‘Saltburn’ and ‘Barbie’ Have been included.
