Ritesh Kumar (16) was stabbed in broad daylight in Jahangirpuri on Tuesday afternoon. Police took Ritesh to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Registering a case of murder, police officials say that the attackers have been identified.
District Deputy Commissioner of Police Jitendra Meena said that a boy was murdered last year. His cousins believed that Ritesh was also involved in the murder. Apprehension is being expressed that for this reason Ritesh was killed. Ritesh lived with the family in Jahangirpuri. There are father Sunil Kumar and other members in the family.
Ritesh had failed in 11th this year. At around 2 pm on Tuesday, Ritesh came to Jahangirpuri J block with brother Nikhil to buy some goods. As soon as both of them reached near a street, suddenly the boys surrounded them. The accused first beat Ritesh with kicks and punches. After this a boy stabbed him in the chest. All the accused fled as soon as Ritesh fell. Police is raiding to arrest the accused.
The young man was killed and thrown into the drain, the couple arrested
Umesh Kumar (25) was murdered by friends during a party in Uttam Nagar on Sunday. After the incident, the accused threw his dead body in a big bag for delivery of goods and threw it in the Najafgarh drain, but passers-by saw it. Police arrested Shubham alias Viraj (26) and wife Fatima (24) after investigation. The main accused Sunny is currently absconding.
Senior police officers said that on Monday afternoon a passer-by had informed that someone had dumped a bag in Najafgarh drain near Shiv Vihar, JJ Colony, Uttam Nagar. When the police took out the bag, the body was recovered. Umesh lived with his uncle in Vikas Nagar along with his family. Relatives told that on Sunday he had gone to his friend Sunny’s house saying that he was going to party. When the police reached there, the house was found locked.
After investigation, the police nabbed the couple on Tuesday. Shubham and Fatima were also present at Sunny’s room on the day of the incident. Sunny and Umesh had a fight over some issue. After this he was strangled to death. When Sunny and Shubham put the dead body in a bag and threw it in the drain, people saw it and informed the police. Now the police is looking for Sunny.
