According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), the wind blew from the south-west direction on Saturday. During this period the wind speed was 8 to 6 kilometers per hour. On Sunday, the wind is expected to blow from north-west and west direction. During this period, the wind speed is expected to be 6 to 12 kilometers per hour.

At the same time, there may be fog in the morning. In such a situation, the air will remain in very poor category. On Monday the wind will blow from different directions. During this period, the wind speed is expected to be four to eight kilometers per hour. Winds are likely to blow from different directions on Tuesday also. During this period the speed can be 4 to 12 kilometers per hour. In such a situation, the air will remain in very poor category.

Air was in very poor category in 29 areas

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air in 29 areas was in very poor category. Among these, the highest index was recorded in Mundka. AQI here was 371. The index was recorded at 365 in Bawana and Wazirpur, 360 in Rohini, 355 in Dwarka Sector-8 and Jahangirpuri, 354 in Sri Aurobindo Marg and 338 in Anand Vihar, which is a very poor category. The air remained in poor category in five areas. The index was recorded at 291 in Aya Nagar, 271 in Mathura Road, 275 in DTU, which is a poor category.

According to CPCB, AQI was recorded at 214 in Greater Noida, 253 in Gurugram, 221 in Noida, 245 in Ghaziabad and 233 in Faridabad, which is in the poor category.
