People of Delhi-NCR will get a chance to have a glimpse of Mini India on this weekend and get acquainted with the culture, art and cuisine of different states. The Union Ministry of Tourism is going to organize a six-day program “Bharat Parv” from January 26 in the Red Fort premises.

Onlookers will also get to see the best tableaux of the Republic Day parade during the event which will continue till January 31 in the precincts of the Red Fort. The special thing is that here the audience will also get a chance to know about the government’s G20, Ek Bharat-Shreshth Bharat, Dekho Apna Desh, public participation schemes.

According to a senior official of the Union Ministry of Tourism, a program called “Bharat Parv” is being organized in collaboration with cultural circles and regional cultural centers of the states and union territories. Whereas the Ministry of Tourism has been designated as the nodal ministry in this.

There will also be cultural performances, an all India food court and an all India craft market with 65 handicraft stalls. Visitors can visit from 10 am to 10 pm.

Food prepared from millet will be special

The government is campaigning for the purpose of including millets in the diet. Here, the audience will be kept dishes prepared from millet in different states. Apart from this, street plays, quizzes, painting competitions will be organized.
