Delhi Capitals Director Of Cricket Sourav Ganguly Confirms Rishabh Pant Out Of Ipl 2023


Rishabh Pant Ruled Out IPL 2023: Indian cricket team’s wicket-keeper batsman and IPL franchise Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of IPL 2023. This was confirmed by Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly. Pant was badly injured in a car accident on 30 December last month. Pant is currently in Mumbai where he is being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. In the past, his knee was successfully operated. Wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant will take at least 6 months to get fit. Due to the absence of Rishabh Pant in IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals are looking for a new captain.

Pant out of IPL 2023

Delhi Capitals Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly while talking to reporters in Kolkata said, Rishabh Pant will not be available for IPL 2023. I am in touch with Delhi Capitals. It will be a great IPL. We’ll do well. Rishabh Pant’s injury will affect the Delhi Capitals team. After stepping down from the post of BCCI President, Sourav Ganguly has taken over the responsibility of Director of Cricket from Delhi Capitals.

Pant was going from Delhi to Roorkee

Rishabh Pant, who returned from Dubai after celebrating Christmas, was going to Roorkee from Delhi on 30 December. During this, his car collided with the divider near Mohammadpur Jat and caught fire. Pant was badly injured in this painful accident. He was first admitted to the hospital in Roorkee for first aid, later he was referred to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Where he got initial treatment. During this, plastic surgery was also done on some parts of his body. After this he was referred to Mumbai for knee operation. The BCCI quoted the medical report as saying that Pant had a deep injury to his leg, back, wrist and thumb. His right para ligament has been torn.
