Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction work of Rajasthan House located at Prithviraj Road in New Delhi on Monday evening. He laid the foundation stone while offering prayers with Vedic chants.

Gehlot said on the occasion that the reconstruction work of the historic Rajasthan House has been our priority. Visitors coming to Delhi from Rajasthan will find high-end facilities in the new house. The artistic architectural style of Rajasthan will be beautifully coordinated in the reconstruction of this state guest house.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is strengthening the historical and important buildings of the state including Rajasthan and Bikaner House in Delhi and Circuit House and Dak Bungalows.

Gehlot said that democracy should be strengthened and the country should run according to the constitution, this is our thinking. Accordingly, budget announcements have been made in the state to remove the gap between the poor and the rich. The concept of providing relief from inflation is being realized through dearness relief camps.

Records have been set in the all-round development of the state including water, education, roads and health.

He informed that green concept, water harvesting, solar system, waste management system have also been taken care of in the construction plan of the new Rajasthan House.
