District’s special wing and Paharganj police jointly raided the pubs and bars running in Paharganj and Nabi Karim areas on the lines of Mumbai-style bar girls dancing and immoral activities.
Bar girls were found dancing in James Bar in the main market of Paharganj. Apart from seven girls and five customers, the police nabbed the bar owner Akhilesh Pathak from here. In connection with business, businessmen from other states were blowing notes on the bar girls here.
The police have registered a case against all and started investigation. Police is investigating with the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby. During the investigation, the police came to know that the accused bar owner Akhilesh Pathak was making bar girls dance for a long time.

Central District Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Sain said that on May 5, a special operation was launched to check the bar under a special operation called Viram. The team checked 20 bars of Paharganj and Nabi Karim. Police sent police personnel by making fake customers in these bars for investigation.
Most of the other bars were fine, but seven girls were found dancing in the James Bar. The fake customers tipped off the police team. When the police raided, five businessmen were found blowing notes on bar girls. There the police also found Akhilesh, the owner of the bar.
The police nabbed everyone and registered a case. During the investigation, the police came to know that Tilak Nagar resident Akhilesh Pathak, a bar owner, has many bars in Delhi. To compensate for the loss during Kovid, the accused had started making girls dance in bars. During investigation, the police came to know that the accused had also kept bouncers in the bar. There was also a different way to escape from the police.
