Now a list of those days from April to June has been released in Delhi when the sale of liquor will be closed. This includes Eid till the date of counting of elections. According to the notification issued by the Delhi government, on the occasion of Eid on April 11, all liquor shops will remain closed and there will be no sale of liquor. Apart from this, dry day has also been kept on 17th April on the occasion of Ram Navami. Four days later, Mahavir Jayanti will also be celebrated on 21st April, on this day also the sale of liquor has been banned.

Shops will remain closed for one day in May and June
After April, only one day each has been kept as dry day in May and June. Liquor shops will remain completely closed on the occasion of Buddha Purnima on 23rd May, whereas on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) in June, there will be a dry day on 17th. This order has been sent to all the liquor shops. That means no one can keep the liquor shop open during all these days.

Dry day even on election date
In the notification issued by Delhi Government Lok Sabha Elections Dry day has also been declared on these dates. It said that due to voting and counting, there will be a dry day from 6:00 pm on May 23, 2024 to 6:00 pm on May 25, 2024 and again on June 4, 2024 (whole day). Let us tell you that voting will be held in a single phase on May 25 in the capital Delhi. The results of elections across the country will be revealed on June 4.
