The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday protested across the country against the arrest of Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the alleged liquor scam. Workers had started gathering at the party headquarters from around 11 am for the demonstration. In view of the demonstration, the police had made adequate security arrangements, but hundreds of workers managed to reach the party headquarters. Senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party, Saurabh Bhardwaj, who is protesting, said that Manish Sisodia has been arrested now, there will be cases against other leaders. But you will prepare Manish Sisodia in every house. You will take one Arvind Kejriwal, you will find 10 Kejriwals sitting inside this office. The party will not bow down and will not stop.
At the same time, MLA Atishi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi thinks that he will put anyone in jail without proof and crime. Till the time Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is in jail, we will continue to struggle. Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Adil Khan said that the BJP has arrested Manish Sisodia, the best education minister of Delhi and the country, in a fake case. MLA Kuldeep said that an honest person who gave education model to the country has been arrested by BJP on the basis of CBI and Delhi Police in a fake case. On Monday, apart from Delhi, AAP workers protested in Patna, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Odisha, Gujarat, Haryana, Mumbai, Bengaluru.
