There were also many frontline workers among those who lost their lives, who were performing their responsibility day and night by risking their lives to save people. The families of the frontline workers who lost their lives during the Corona period were given an honorarium of Rs 1-1 crore by the Delhi government today. At the same time, these families thanked the Delhi government after receiving this amount.
Families expressed gratitude to the Delhi government
On behalf of the Delhi government, an honorarium of 1-1 crore has been given to the family of late JC Mathew, lab technician at LNJP Hospital, late DTC bus driver late Lal Singh and late doctor Bhupendra Gupta of Safdarjung Hospital. During this, cabinet minister Kailash Gehlot, MLA Dilip Pandey and other leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party were also present in the Delhi government. After receiving the honorarium, the families also expressed their gratitude to the Delhi government.
The Kejriwal government today gave ₹ 1 – 1 Crore honorarium to the families of the three brave martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting COVID by becoming the shield of Delhi.

How is the situation regarding Corona in Delhi
On the other hand, if we talk about the current situation, then at present a better situation is being seen in Delhi regarding Corona. The total number of active corona patients in Delhi is currently 10, out of which 9 patients are being treated at home. In the last 24 hours, not a single corona patient has been confirmed found in the capital and there has not been a report of death of a single person due to corona infection. That is, the situation regarding Corona in Delhi is under control, although the Health Department has still warned people to be cautious about the new variant.
