Deputy Secretary Himanshu, posted in the Ministry of External Affairs, found it difficult to help a person lying unconscious on the road. He stopped to help the victim, in the meantime the miscreants of the Thak-Thak gang made him their victim. The miscreants broke the glass of his car and stole a laptop, expensive watch, 25 to 30 Euros, eight thousand rupees and other items. The Kotla Mubakarpur police of South district have registered a case on the complaint of the deputy secretary and started investigation.
According to South District Police officials, the incident took place on Monday evening in front of gate number-two of AIIMS. South District Deputy Commissioner of Police Chandan Chaudhary told that he was going to his home from office on Monday evening. When he reached near INA Market, he saw a man lying unconscious on the road near the flyover on the carriageway leading to South Extension. He stopped his car and went to the victim and informed the police.
He remained on the spot till the arrival of the police. PCR came on the spot and took the youth to the hospital. After this, when he started going towards his car, he saw that the left side glass of the car was broken. Foreign Ministry’s official laptop, identity card, diplomatic passport, ATM and driving license, mobile phone and other items were missing from the car.
