Delhi Kanjhawala Accident Case, Victim’s Friend Nidhi Told The Story, Anjali’s Last Rites Performed

Delhi Kanjhawala Girl Accident: There have been many surprising revelations in Delhi’s Kanjhawala case on Tuesday (January 3). Anjali was cremated, but Anjali’s friend Nidhi has made very shocking revelations in this case. These are such revelations which raised questions on all the claims made so far in the hit and run case. Anjali’s friend narrated the story of the night of the accident to the media in a sequential manner.

Nidhi is the same girl who was sitting with Anjali on the scooty during the accident. On Tuesday, Delhi Police interrogated Anjali’s friend and got her statement recorded. After this Nidhi kept her point in front of the media. Nidhi told ABP News that both of us had gone out for a walk and then the car hit us from the front. Anjali was driving the scooty. She was in an inebriated condition, so I told her not to drive the scooty, but she did not agree.

What happened in Kanjhawala?

Nidhi told that after a head-on collision with the car, I fell to one side and Anjali got stuck in the car. Those people dragged him away. I was scared that the matter might not affect me or my family, so I went there to my house and did not tell anything to anyone. I didn’t get hurt much. The boys in the car knew that the girl was trapped below, she was screaming, but they didn’t stop the car. In the morning I came to know about Anjali’s death in the news.

‘Knew Anjali only for 10-15 days’

Regarding the CCTV of the fight, Nidhi said that I and Anjali had gone to the hotel. Left there after partying at night. Anjali was insisting on driving the scooty. Regarding this, both of them had an argument outside the hotel. Later, Anjali continued to drive the scooty, but before dropping home, there was a collision. There was no quarrel between us. I was just telling him not to drive the scooty. She knew Anjali only for 10-15 days.

‘Car riders knew everything’

Till now, in police interrogation, the accused told that they were intoxicated. They were drinking, loud music was playing in the car, that’s why they did not know about the girl coming under the car, but Nidhi termed these claims of the boys as false. Nidhi told that there was peace all around when the accident happened. No music was playing in the vehicle during the accident. The accused knew that a girl was trapped under their car and completely ignored it. According to Nidhi, these accused were continuously rocking the car back and forth and were shouting loudly. After this, the people sitting in the Baleno car ran the car. He didn’t get down and take care of the girl even once.

‘Anjali was crying’

In this case, the police had first told that this is a case of accident. Later the Special CP said that the girl was dragged for 12 km. The police came and gave statements and went away, but each and every disclosure of Nidhi on what happened in Kanjhawala on the intervening night of 31st December and 1st January, was going to give goosebumps. According to media reports, Nidhi told that when Anjali got trapped under the car, she was crying loudly, but it had no effect on the accused. He was in his fun and was turning the car again and again, going round and round.

Why have you remained silent till now?

Now the question is that if a friend has an accident, then what does the friend with him do. Why didn’t Nidhi ask for help? Why didn’t you call the police? Why didn’t you inform the people around you about this? Nidhi has given clarification on this also. Nidhi says that she was very scared after seeing the pictures of the accident. The way Anjali was being dragged, she was horrified to see these pictures. Because of this fear, he did not share anything with anyone. Nidhi told that after going home, she had talked about this incident with her family members. She was also afraid that the blame for the incident might fall on her, so she did not even go to the police.

‘Anjali could have survived’

In the end, Anjali told another big thing. He said that if the people in the car had seen Anjali once out of humanity, stopped the car once and tried to take her out, she would have been alive today, but no one even looked back.

This was revealed in the post mortem report

The Medical Board of Maulana Azad Medical College conducted Anjali’s post-mortem. The post-mortem report came on Tuesday. The police said that there was no injury mark on the private part of the victim. Rape was not confirmed in the post mortem report. The report also says that the death occurred due to being dragged. The cause of death was said to be shock and haemorrhage after the injuries. Anjali has deep injury marks on her head and spinal cord due to dragging. Similarly, the bone of the left leg and both the knees were broken. The report says that Anjali got these injuries due to the accident with the car and then being dragged after that.

cremated the victim

Anjali’s body was handed over to the family members on Tuesday. The family members took the body to their home, after which it was taken to the crematorium. A large number of security personnel were deployed outside the girl’s house and crematorium to avoid any untoward incident. Anjali was cremated amidst heavy security. A large number of people attended the funeral. During this, people also demanded to hang the accused.
