Delhi MCD Election 2022 Counting: Counting of votes is going on in Delhi MCD elections. Aam Aadmi Party has won 97 seats. Whereas BJP has won 75 seats. Congress has so far won only 4 seats. In the trends, AAP is currently leading in 40 seats, while BJP is ahead in 25 seats.

The most shocking results in the trends are seen in the area of Manoj Tiwari, former president of Delhi BJP and MP from North-East Delhi. There are total 41 wards of MCD in his parliamentary constituency. Kejriwal’s broom is giving a tough fight in Manoj Tiwari’s stronghold. In the initial trends, AAP had taken a big lead, however now AAP has again lagged behind.

‘Lotus’ will bloom in Manoj Tiwari’s field in exit polls
The security of Manoj Tiwari’s fort will remain intact in the exit poll, which means lotus will bloom in Manoj Tiwari’s area. According to Aaj Tak Axis My India exit poll, BJP will win 21 wards in Manoj Tiwari’s constituency, while Kejriwal will sweep 17 wards. Congress is also seen getting victory on 2 wards, while one ward can go into the account of others.
If we talk about vote share, according to exit polls, BJP will get 39 percent votes in North-East Delhi, while 37 percent people have chosen Kejriwal’s party. 11 percent people preferred Congress while 13 percent people went with others. According to the exit polls, the BJP has performed best in the parliamentary seat of Manoj Tiwari.
What is the trend according to the Lok Sabha seats?
- There are total 38 wards in West Delhi. Here the contest on 38 seats is between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party. In East Delhi, AAP is ahead on 26 seats and BJP is also ahead on 12 seats. On the other hand, Congress is not leading in even a single ward here.
- There are a total of 37 wards in South Delhi. Here Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 23 seats and BJP is leading in only 13 seats. One seat seems to be going to the account of the Congress.
- MCD has 36 seats in East Delhi. Here the BJP has gone far ahead of the Aam Aadmi Party. BJP is leading in 21 seats and AAP is leading in only 13 seats. Congress is leading on two seats.
- MCD has 43 seats in North West Delhi. Here Aam Aadmi Party is running much ahead of BJP. Here AAP is leading in 23 seats. BJP is ahead in only 16 seats. Congress is leading on 3 seats here. Here the independent candidate is leading on 1 seat.
- There are a total of 25 wards in the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Here BJP is leading in 05 seats and AAP is leading in 20 seats. Congress’s vote has been cleared here too.
- Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 18 out of 41 wards in North East Delhi and BJP is leading in 14 seats. On the other hand, Congress is leading in 4 seats and in one other seat.
- There are 30 wards in the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat. There is a tough fight going on between BJP and AAP. BJP is leading in 15 seats and AAP is leading in 15 seats.
