For the last few years, new services have been added somewhere in Delhi Metro. The recent service of which is the lockers given at metro stations. Now a new service has been started for the people in the Delhi Metro. Now there will be freight along with passengers in Delhi Metro. Let us tell you when this service will start.

Delhi Metro will carry freight

In the Delhi Metro, passengers go from one place to another. And millions of passengers travel daily. But now in the Delhi Metro, not passengers but also the goods will be able to go. Like you book goods in the train and send it. In the same way, you will be able to book equal books in Delhi Metro. For this, a separate coach will be installed in the metro of all corridors.

Despite the installation of this coach, there will be no effect in the number of passengers. This service is already operational on the Airport Express line. But now this service will be available on the rest of the Delhi Metro corridors. Please tell this service will be available only in off peak back.

Agreement with blue dart

For the service of freight, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation i.e. DMRC has been tied up with a logistics company Blue Dart. DMRC and Blue Dart will serve the metro freight service.

When will the service start?

When will the passengers traveling in the Delhi Metro by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation i.e. DMRC will get the benefit of the service of freight. At present, no official information has been shared about this matter. However, the update will be released from soon. This service of freight is being started by Delhi Metro to increase revenue.
