Expansion

Metro services on the Yellow Line will be temporarily regulated from the night of November 14 to November 19 due to civil work on the 490-metre stretch from Janakpuri West to RK Ashram. According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the disruption is due to planned construction work on a 490-metre stretch between Janakpuri West and R K Ashram, where the alignment crosses the Haiderpur Badli turn.

It said that train services on this section will be affected for some time from the night of 14-15 November to the night of 19-20 November. As a result, there will be no train services between Samaypur Badli and Jahangirpuri after 10.45 pm till the commencement of revenue services at 7.02 am. It said three stations – Samaypur Badli, Rohini Sector 18-19 and Haiderpur Badli Mor – will remain closed till services resume at 7.02 am.

However, trains will continue to operate on the remaining sections of the Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Gurugram’s Millennium City Center during this period, the statement said. It said that to minimize inconvenience, announcements will be made at stations and inside trains informing passengers about train destinations and platforms.
