As it is evening time, people are not able to go towards their homes. When people came out together after the rain became light, there was a traffic jam like situation at many places.
On Tuesday, the weather department had predicted good rains for the next three days. It also said that this will lead to a drop in the maximum and minimum temperatures. The forecast proved to be true. The department has issued an orange alert for rain on July 31, while there is a yellow alert on August 1 and 2. During this time, the temperature will drop.
Due to heavy rains, there has been a huge traffic jam in the South Extension area of New Delhi. Vehicles were seen crawling. Similarly, there was a jam like situation on the roads of different areas of Delhi and Noida.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with strong winds in Gurugram in the next three days. Apart from this, the minimum temperature of the city on Wednesday was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 37.9 degrees Celsius.
