After winning the Jalandhar parliamentary seat, newly elected MP Sushil Kumar Rinku along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. During the meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, Kejriwal gave him the mantra of public service. Asked Rinku to strongly raise the issues of development of Punjab and its people in the Parliament. Rajya Sabha members Sanjay Singh and Ashok Mittal were also present on this occasion.
AAP’s candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku has registered a major victory in the by-election for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat. Defeated the Congress party in its own stronghold. The victory in Jalandhar parliamentary seat is important for the party in many ways. AAP has won 7 out of 9 assembly seats in Jalandhar. Jalandhar remained behind in Central and North only. The Aam Aadmi Party got just 28 per cent votes from this constituency in the Vidhan Sabha, which increased to 34 per cent in the Lok Sabha bypolls within a year. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, AAP got only 2.5 per cent votes in Jalandhar seat.
I have come to seek blessings from Arvind Kejriwal: Rinku
After meeting Arvind Kejriwal, MP Sushil Kumar Rinku said that the blessings of the party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal are enough for me. The people of Jalandhar have made us win by giving huge public support. For this, I have come to thank Arvind Kejriwal and seek his blessings. The people of Jalandhar have given their massive support to AAP because of the work done by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab in the last one year. In Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency, the work of many flyovers is stalled, many road projects are stalled, Adampur airport has to be started in Jalandhar. Apart from this, there are many issues of the industry as well. Will strongly raise all these issues in the Parliament. I want to assure the people of entire Punjab including Jalandhar that the promises made by Sardar Bhagwant Mann will be fulfilled. The work of planning to implement all the promises will be started soon.
Shock to BJP, councilor from AAP returned
New Delhi. The State BJP got a jolt in the matter of MCD on Sunday. The councilor, who rebelled against the Aam Aadmi Party and joined the BJP during the election of the members of the Standing Committee, returned home on Sunday. In such a situation, AAP’s position has become stronger in MCD’s Narela zone. About three months ago, Aam Aadmi Party’s Bawana ward councilor Pawan Sehrawat rebelled against the party and joined the BJP, but on Sunday he left the BJP and joined AAP. While joining AAP, he said that he had gone to BJP due to organizational misunderstandings, but his mind was set here. He was in constant touch with you. His misconceptions were cleared and today he is back with his family.
