In Jyoti Nagar area of North-East Delhi, a case of fraud of Rs 12 lakh has come to light by pretending to provide a temporary job in WHO (World Health Organisation). The accused has cheated six youths. For this, appointment letters were also sent on e-mail. But even after two years of not getting the job, when the victims asked for the money back, the accused and his brother started threatening them. Not only this, the father of the accused also threatened them by calling himself a history-sheeter. Later, a complaint was made to the Jyoti Nagar police station. After investigation, the police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
The victim Deepak lives with the family in Jyoti Nagar area. In a statement given to the police, he told that in the year 2020, he had met a youth named Gaurav in a park. During the conversation, the accused described himself as a WHO official. He told Deepak that there are still some vacancies for temporary jobs. He can get some people jobs. Initially, a salary of Rs 32 thousand will be given every month, which will increase from time to time.
There will also be a possibility of getting a confirmed job later. Deepak fell in his trap. He talked about getting jobs for some of his friends Pawan, Pradeep, Rajeev, Rohit and Sunil. When the accused asked for two lakh rupees from everyone, everyone got ready and gave the money to the accused. Gaurav also sent appointment letters to him on e-mail. After this, there was talk of some time to join the job again and again. In this way, the accused kept avoiding all the boys for two years.
